The award-winning singer’s three albums have sold a combined total of over 6 million copies. His holiday release, Merry Christmas With Love stands as the fastest selling holiday album in SoundScan history. His memoir, Learning To Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life became a New York Times Best Seller. A former special education teacher, in 2003 he created the Bubel/Aiken Foundation to serve individuals with disabilities, and in 2004 was appointed a Goodwil Ambassador for UNICEF. originated the role of Franz Liebkind in The Producers (Tony nom). He later went on to play the role of Max Bialystock over 1,200 times on Broadway, on tour, in London, and Las Vegas. Other stage work includes the Broadway casts of Aspects of Love and Jekyll and Hyde. Other: Forbidden Broadway in NY and LA; Damn Yankees and Cabaret, both at Arena Stage. Graduate of Boston University's College of Fine Arts, and has taught musical theater technique at Marymount Manhattan College.
