ALAN DALE
King Arthur
Alan has been starring as Bradford Meade in ABC’s hit comedy “Ugly Betty.” As President/CEO of Meade Publications and father of Daniel Meade, Bradford is a well-posed professional seeking the success of both his business and his son. In an attempt to keep his son from sleeping with another assistant, he insists Daniel hire the unattractive, yet hard-working Betty.
Previously branded “the richest man in The O.C.”, Alan starred as Caleb Nichol on the FOX sensation “The O.C.” Alan has a recurring role as Charles Widmore in “Lost” and appeared as Metcalfe in NBC’s “E-Ring.”
Along with his other power driven roles, he has also appeared as Mitch Bryce, Secretary of Commerce in “The West Wing” and Vice President Jim Prescott in “24.” Alan also created a stir during his recurring role as Director Tom Morrow on the CBS action drama “NCIS.” Other notable television credits include "The X-Files, "ER” and “The Practice.”
Alan has also been seen on the big screen as Praetor Hiren, the zealous president of the Romulan Senate in Star Trek: Nemesis. Playing the role of an experienced politician, he formulates a plan to protect the political course of Romulus. Later he was cast as Commander Preston in Hollywood Homicide with Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett. He was seen alongside Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek in After the Sunset. You may also recognize him from other films such as Space: Above and Beyond, First Daughter and The Extreme Team.
Alan also has extensive theatre credits and is known for his role as Jim Robinson in the Australian TV hit ‘Neighbours’ He has hosted his own radio shows and is a successful voice-over artist.
Alan has just filmed the guest lead of Copley for BBC’s Torchwood and will be seen shortly as ruthless politician Donald Hagan in new ITV drama Midnight Man for Carnival Pictures starring alongside Catherine McCormack and James Nesbitt.
Alan will also be seen in the new Australian series ‘Sea Patrol’ which will air in Australia this year and the new Indiana Jones movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Skull’ directed by Steven Spielberg to be released this year. |

For the past 15 years I have been working in the entertainment industry both as lead-singer with several bands, artist in different show productions, studio vocalist, and support singer. 2006 I was working as background-singer for the unforgettable “Bee Gees” Robin Gibb. Im working on my first album with the producer Matti Alfonzetti /Bronco Music. Hopefully the album will be ready this spring/-08. I am un feald-entertainer for the Swedish army. Ive been in Liberia -06 and in Afghanistan in aug-07 were i sang for the UN-soldiers. Throughout the years I have worked with “Wallmans Salonger” across Scandinavia, as well as several domestic artists such as Niklas Andersson, Martin Stenmarck, Roger Pontare, Loa Falkman, Charlotte Perelli, Pernilla Wahlgren, Magnus Bäcklund, Måns Zemmerlöf and many others. Some other performances were the victory-concert for Sweden’s hockey team “Tre Kronor” after winning Olympic Gold, the kick-off for the Swedish soccer-league at the world championships in Berlin as well as several other corporate events. Due to my work and burning ambition for my job I have a great experience within the entertainment & event business and I love my work! As an artist I can deliver a strong scene-appearance and a voice that will touch the audience, I also provide a fond balance of northern Swedish charms and humour and I consider myself to be curious, ambitious, flexible and eager. My performances stretch from Jazz to Rock’n’Roll, and I have also worked with dance, standup-comedian and showhost-duties. |

Winner of the BBC’s Funny Hunt 2006, Steven trained with the Northern Theatre Company in his native Hull. He most recently played Franz in the Olivier Award-winning Sunday in the Park with George at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Wyndhams, West-End. A comedy regular of BBC Radio he has most recently recorded new sitcoms The Castle and Hut 33 for Radio 4, his other credits include Rubbish, Another Case of Milton Jones, Adventures of Jack Stalwart, Think the Unthinkable, The Unofficial Election, Fergus Crane, Giles Wembley Hogg, The Pits, Concrete Cow and many others. Trained in all aspects of dance and musical theatre at the Hammond School, Chester. Karl graduated as a qualified teacher for the Royal Academy of Dancing. Since leaving college, Karl’s professional engagements include: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium; the original UK tours of Thoroughly Modern Millie and Sunset Boulevard; the original German cast of Saturday Night Fever, understudying and playing the roles of Gus and Joey as well as singing on the original German cast recording. Karl performed in Adam Cooper’s On Your Toes, understudying and playing the part of Phill Dolan II on its Japanese tour; and also in an original and alternative production of West Side Story at the Bregenz festival in Austria, dancing on a floating theatre in the middle of Lake Constance. He also toured with Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (understudying and playing the roles of Frank, Ephraim and Gideon) and also with Calamity Jane, which also played a season at Sadler’s Wells Theatre. Karl played the role of Aladdin in Disney’s Magical Moment, performing in London, Paris and Rome. He has appeared in pantomimes throughout the UK, including LWT’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk with Julie Walters. As a choreographer, Karl’s work includes: Mother Goose at the Chirchill Theatre, Bromley; Celtic Journey at the Marlow Theatre, Canterbury; Dick Whittington at the Richmond theatre; Aladdin at the New Victoria Theatre; Woking, Peter Pan and La Belle Helene at the Chester Gateway theatre. He also choreographed a production of Return to the Forbidden Planet in Belfast Oliver in East London, and excerpts from Wild Party and Pajama Game for Arts Educational. Karl works as a choreographer and teacher at most of the vocational dance training colleges around the country. He also helped coach the young stars of the West End’s highly acclaimed; Billy Elliot. Karl’s classical credits include: Mr Fezziwig in Christopher Hampson’s production of A Christmas Carol at the Royal Festival Hall; Swan Lake at the English National Ballet. He has also danced the roles of Franz in Coppelia, The Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty and the Sugar Plum Fairy’s Cavalier in The Nutcracker. Karl has also danced for Martine Mc Cutcheon in Martine Sings the Musicals (Carlton TV). Ian started dancing at 7 but by 8.45 was back in bed thinking of a new career. Coming up blank he ended up attending the Betty Laine Clinic for three years of therapy. Surviving that, he tried breaking into musicals. A hundred hours of community service later he finds auditions are the way to get into musicals not a crowbar. Luckily someone took pity on him and gave him a job in Me and My Girl (UK Tour). They then made him Dance Captain for the second year, fools. He then went from show to show as Dance Captain including, Hot Shoe Shuffle (UK Tour) Tommy (Shaftesbury), Peggy Sue Got Married (Shaftesbury), West Side Story (Prince Edward/Prince of Wales - Resident Choreographer), My Fair Lady (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), The Full Monty (UK Tour), Scrooge (Manchester Palace), Miss Saigon (UK Tour). Other shows he has been in are My One and Only (Piccadilly), Singin’ in the Rain (National Theatre), Eating Raoul (Bridewell - Assistant Choreographer). Most recently he was choreographer on Billy Elliot (Victoria Palace). His international film debut was in the Kevin Spacey film Beyond the Sea (if you look closely you’ll see him in the first dance number). Choreographic credits include Cooking with Elvis (Whitehall), Stones in His Pockets (US Tour), Girls’ Night Out (UK Tour), Grease (CMC Cruises), Double Act (Polka Theatre and UK Tour), Stuart Little, Cinderella, Brown Paper Tiger and Friendly Matches (all Polka Theatre).
